ID Bank Program

The ID Bank was created with the intention of ensuring all members of the community have a safe place to store their identification. Unfortunately, for individuals who are unhoused, living in congregate living or precariously housed, keeping these essential ID documents safe is difficult. Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC) was able to obtain a City of Brantford Operational Grant to purchase proper storage in which these documents are stored.

Senior Newcomer Cooking Group: Flavours of Brantford 2.0

Adults aged 55+ are invited to explore the Flavours of Brantford through a monthly cooking series offered from September to December 2024. Each month focuses on food from a different continent, including South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Participants will not only prepare and enjoy a traditional meal, but they will also learn about the culture of a different country within the continent each week.

Black and Caribbean Health Fair

Join us for the Brantford Brant Norfolk Black and Caribbean Health Fair in Simcoe.
Get wellness information and resources, and chat with local wellness service providers.
Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Our guest speaker Keturah Layne is an advocate in the community and will speak to her experience as a ReThink Breast Cancer MBC and Cancer Care Giver. There will also be music, food demonstrations, prizes, kids activities and free dinner included.
