Nutrition can play an important role in preventing and managing various health conditions. We also know that food serves many purposes beyond fueling our body and supporting our health. Food can be a part of cultural traditions, celebrations and socializing. Food is meant to be enjoyed. Part of eating for wellbeing includes having a positive relationship with food where you can enjoy a wide variety of foods each day.
The Registered Dietitians at Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC) work with you to find the balance of foods that make your body feel good and please your taste buds. We also know that factors beyond nutrition (e.g. cost, convenience) influence our food choices. Our goal is to help you identify small, realistic steps to meet your nutrition goals based on your individual needs.
