Caring for My COPD is a free 10-week program that helps support people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. During the program, we'll focus on how to manage your COPD so that you can do the things you enjoy in life.

Locations

The program is offered at the centre as well as satellite sites across Brant and Norfolk County. Virtual options are in place for those unable to attend in person.

How to get started

Speak to your Primary Care Provider or Respirologist to complete a referral form. You can also refer yourself by contacting our office at 519-754-0777 ext. 235 and we can get in touch with your Provider or Respirologist.

About the program

  • There is NO COST
  • Weekly education sessions to help manage and understand COPD. Family member(s) or a support person are welcome to attend with you
  • Supervised exercise programming is available in a group and/or 1:1 format
  • Access to our entire COPD Team (Certified Respiratory Education, Kinesiologist, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian and Social Worker)
  • Access to our smoking cessation services
