We want to let you know about some upcoming changes to the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic in Brantford, and what they mean for you. RAAM patients have choices in how they wish to access services.

What's Changing?

Starting July 28th, 2025, a new RAAM Clinic will open at 12 Market Street, Brantford, operated by publicly funded health partners:

  • Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC)
  • SOAR Community Services (SOAR)
  • De dwa da dehs nye>s Aboriginal Health Centre (DAHC)
  • Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)

Clinic hours will offer a combination of walk-in and appointment-based services in order to manage volume and reduce waiting times.

Open access, no appointment required hours will be:

Tuesday: 1 pm - 6 pm

Wednesday: 9 am - 1 pm

Thursday: 1 pm - 5 pm

Friday: 9 am - 1 pm

Booked appointment hours will be offered on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, and Friday afternoons. The clinic will also continue to provide virtual services Tuesday through Friday.

This new clinic will offer the following services:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician (addictions medicine care)
  • Case Management
  • Addictions Assessment and Counselling
  • Peer Support

What Does This Mean for You?

You have a choice in where you receive your care:

  • If you currently receive care at the 320 Colborne Street East clinic, you are welcome to continue going there for your addictions medicine care.
  • If you prefer, you can shift your care to the new clinic at 12 Market Street.

Please note: All publicly funded support services offered by the agencies listed above - including case management, addictions counselling, and peer support - will only be available at the new clinic starting on July 28, 2025. These services will no longer be offered at the current Colborne Street East location.
